Villa La Sort sits on a 2,000 m² rustic plot in Moraira, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, with hardly any neighbours in sight despite the beach being just 600 metres away. It's a genuinely large villa, six bedrooms, most with their own bathroom, built for bigger families or several families travelling together.
The build quality shows in the details, wide rooms, a properly large kitchen and generous living spaces throughout. Wide sliding doors off the kitchen open straight onto the garden, where the outdoor dining areas, barbecue and pool are all within a few steps of each other.
The house is arranged over two floors. Upstairs, on the main level, are the kitchen, two dining rooms and three of the six bedrooms along one corridor, one with an en suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, one with a bathroom just outside the room, and one with its own en suite and wardrobe.
Downstairs, in a quieter part of the house, are the remaining three bedrooms, along with the main entrance and garage. Two of these bedrooms can be joined through a connecting door to form one large family room, and the third has a double and a single bed with its own en suite, useful for a family with a child. All six bedrooms, plus the dining room and kitchen, have air conditioning.
Outside, the garden is properly Mediterranean, rose bushes, bougainvillea and olive trees around a lawn and a fenced pool, with a gazebo, a covered chill-out terrace and a sunbed area giving guests plenty of different spots to spend the day.

Moraira, Costa Blanca
Villa La Sort is in Moraira, on a rustic plot about 600 metres, roughly a seven-minute walk, from the beach. Moraira itself is known for its sandy beaches, clear water and good restaurants. Despite sitting on its own plot with barely any neighbours, the walk to the beach is an easy one, so you get genuine privacy without losing the coast on your doorstep.

Our third visit here — we still love the spaciousness, the location and the Moraira area. This time round a few things showed their age though: cracks in the BBQ, tiles coming loose, air conditioning issues again, the pool wasn't clean on arrival, and the kitchen utensils were a mismatched, well-worn set. The villa could do with a bit of TLC since our first stay back in 2019.
A huge villa with a great pool and lovely seating areas inside and out. Perfect for families, and just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
The location is very handy for the town, with no hills to climb. The staff were always available and ready to help whenever needed. Overall a very pleasurable, enjoyable holiday, and we'd happily stay here again.
The staff and the owner are brilliant — nothing was too much to ask, and we got instant attention whenever needed. Honestly can't think of anything they should change.
We were 10 adults for the first three days, then six thereafter, and there were more than enough sun loungers, seating and dining areas for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, and it's only a short stroll into Moraira, our favourite holiday spot — the BBQ was a nice bonus too, and the pool, while a little cold, was still enjoyed by all. A few extras would help: spare loo roll and hand soap in the bathrooms, a full bottle of washing-up liquid rather than a tiny tube, and some kitchen basics like salt, pepper and cooking oil.
We've been back to Villa La Sort several times now.
