Villa Sunny Hill is a four-bedroom villa with plenty of character, carefully renovated to keep its original Mediterranean feel while adding modern comforts. It comfortably sleeps up to seven guests across two floors.

Original details run throughout the house, including wooden beams, terracotta floors, traditional tiles and hand-finished walls, giving the interior a warm, timeless feel rather than a renovated-showroom one.

The ground floor holds the main kitchen and dining area, with large windows framing the landscape outside. Two bedrooms are on this level, one with bunk beds and another with a single bed opening onto a balcony with lovely views, sharing a bathroom with a shower.

Upstairs, the main bedroom has a double bed, an en suite bathroom and its own private terrace with sea views. A fourth bedroom for two guests completes the upper floor. Several rooms have air conditioning, and central heating covers the whole house for cooler months.

At the front of the house, the heated pool sits in a sunny, south-facing spot with uninterrupted sea views, positioned slightly away from the trees to keep the sunlight coming through most of the day. Subtle LED lighting extends its use into the evening.

Two outdoor showers near the pool, one with hot water, make rinsing off after a swim or a beach day straightforward.

At the back of the property is one of the villa's best features, a shaded pine grove of more than 1,500 square metres. It's a genuinely cool retreat in summer, and children tend to love it. There's a small playhouse, a football goal, a basketball hoop and even a small vegetable garden.

A barbecue area and a traditional Moorish wood-fired oven round out the outdoor living, good for simple meals outside and long evenings under the Costa Blanca sky.
